Full Description: A number of cylindrical steel tanks, each capable of holding 80,000 gallons of aviation fuel, were retained when RAF Greenham Common was closed. This example is near the main public car park in Bury's Bank Road and is a reminder of the former use the site, as is the American-style fire hydrant in the foreground.
