Full Description: On the north side of Bury's Bank road is an area known as the 'bomb site', which was used for munitions storage during the Second world War (1939 to 1945).One of the loading platforms may just be seen beneath the encroaching vegetation. The site is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT). |
