Full Description: St. Mary's church, Greenham from the north-east. The church replaced an earlier chapel and was built largely at the expense of the Lord of the Manor of Greenham, Lloyd Baxendale. The architect was Henry Woodyer; the chancel is a riot of Victorian art with mural paintings featuring the life of Christ, executed by the firm of Hardman in 1887-90. |
